Hi all, havin a great time here in the sunny, warm south. Today is our 13th anniversary. We went to Disneys Animal Kingdom, Did the safari, saw the shows, rode some rides, has some dinner, and generally enjoyed ourselves. down for the evening now, talkin with Doc, makin' nefarious plans for later in the week....Mehehehehe
Saw the weather report for home.... 50s and rain. yuk!
tis a good day.

Sub-seasonal temps this week, woke up to high 60'sF.... eeep! Long pants and flannel now!

I want my summer back.

We've been having weird weather here for sure. Last week (Wednesday I think) was a record high of 115 in downtown L.A. Hadn't been that hot on that day since 1877 apparently. Yesterday temps required long pants and closing the windows. Contemplated turning the heater on.

58 this morning. Absolutely fabulous. 63 yesterday morning - causing the top to come down on the Miata and the house windows open for the first time this season.

'nuther bee-uutiful day here. touch windy, got kinda cool after sunset. Yesterday was Magic Kingdom. Visited aerogs "Laughin' place" Aka Splash mountain, and Thunder mountain and Space mountain. All with my Dot riding with me. She liked Thunder mountain so much we went again. Rode Pirates of the Caribbean. Love the updates with Capn' Jack and Barbosa. And stayed for fireworks. Awesome!!!!
Today was Universal Studios. Spent the most time at the Harry Potter section. Dot had "the wand choose her" at Ollivanders, we got goodies at Zonkos, and all enjoyed a cold butterbeer. Any Potter fans out there, I highly recommend it . It was really neat.
Also toured the rest of the park. Stopped at "Mels Diner", saw Doc Browns time machines, and got a picture with Jaws. all very cool.
I'm runnin on fumes (too much of a good thing?) One more day of "Parkin it" then it's wind down before headin back north.
