Late OD trans input shaft question

Is there a spec for input shaft lateral runout? Mine 'wiggles' side to side but does not seem to have axial runout. I took off front cover and all looks good except it appears that bearing outer race has spun causing galling on the shims and bearing land on frt cover. There are no specs in manual, just method for getting .001"-.002" preload on outer race. I think the runout is more due to the inner bearing being loose, not the bearing under the front cover.

Thanks

I've never noticed a spec for runout. The pilot bushing keeps the first motion shaft on center. I have found countless .002 shims wadded up in the front cover.
