...and we gotta wait for this historic race to be "delay" broadcast Wednesday, midnight.

WhaddabunchaBull.

But boy-oh-boy, we get live Wimbly-don coverage ad-nauseum... and those left-turn-only tin cans same-same.

argh.

I'm NOT entertained. :madder:

Doc., Doc., Doc., Prepare to be entertained!!! It IS on today at 1 p.m. on channel 11(for us on Comcast) WFLX. It is time delayed, but NOT until Wed. (that is when speed channel will air it, isn't it?). A little channel surfing for 1 p.m. listings should find it for you  !!

WOOHOO!!! Local Fox affiliate here, too!!

Thanks Mikey! I'd have been plannin' "something else" and missed it.

I'm gettin' ready to watch now! :driving:

Yup-yup!!!

Rain!
Many spins!
What a move by Hamilton!

I got that from some F1 website early this AM Will. Haven't gone back 'cause I wanna be "surprised" at th' results.

Hamilton & Co are showing remarkable strategy so-far.

YAY LEWIS!!!!

Absolutely stunning. Th' kid's great.

Best hockey game, too! :jester:

And Lewis was BRILLIANT.

Geez! Three way tie for drivers' points goin' into the German race and these bozos are gonna delay THAT broadcast too!

*mumble-mumble* :wall: :madder:

EDIT: I see they're sellin' 2009 tickets for F1 so wherever I read this as the last one was obviously not correct.

Very entertaining. I like tire strategy. And skillful driving.

I had to make a tonic water run, but couldn't tear myself away from the tube.

Doc. They HAVE to delay it (contracts don't you know!!), but they will continue same-day coverage on the local Fox affiliate! Better a few hour delay than days of delay!!! That was one heck of a race! Nice to see an F1 race where there are a few position swaps for a change! A fitting win for a talented young man on his home course!!!! Somehow very fitting that the British GP should be run in the wet!!

Now to switch to watching Indy cars at the Glen! Not my favorite series, but definitly one of my favorite tracks!!!!!

And I just watched the WORST best tennis match ever, as well. Nadal.

Awesome. Insane. Never, ever saw anything like it.

Nail biting, pacing, growling...

'smits is calming down nicely now, she's won her bet. :jester:

Phew! That Indy car race at the Glen had as many, if not more spins/incidents than the F1 race and they were running in the dry!!!! :eeek:

Doc you are welcome to come up here and see it live (no delay) on TSN. Thats why I am up at 7.am on race days. prerace at 7.30am and race starts at 8.am

That was a routine here back when ESPN did live coverage. We had th' cappacino maker fired up, a house full o' friends, waitin' for th' flag t' drop.

We'd all kibbitz over Chris Economackie's LACK of F-1 knowledge, scream, hoot 'n holler as the race progressed. One outstanding memory is Senna's first Monaco. In th' wet. He was magnificent. Obviously gonna become a World Champion.

*sigh*

Doc if you like espresso try it with just a little sugar and a shot of sambuca in it. nothing like it on a cold morn

I'll write that down for mid January when it gets below 50*F in the AM, Will.
