As I am contemplating the color of the new restoration on TS23351 I took a run up Mt. Diablo on Sunday. It was a beautiful day and it is possible that I am going to start deconstruction of the damaged TS37148 So I made the run up the mountian (3892') from sea level where we are at. The car ran great and of course lots of fun and thumbs up! What a blast and I will miss these little runs in the TR until I can get the new one on the road. I will keep you all informed on the build and of course need your advice. (see previous post)

Yup! All the damage is in the back passenger corner.

Dan...may have missed some of your posts...How did you end up with the insurance company?
Best of luck with the new project!

They are going to try to buy me off tomorrow, if the price is right.

Dan,
Can you not keep using the car over the next few months while the donor body is blasted, repaired and painted? I know too well the feeling of being TR-less
Looks like a great drive you had yesterday.
Good luck with the insurance.

Peter, my cat Noel sleeps on the TR6 convertible top cover.

My girls cats think the cover on the TR6, or the tonneau cover is actually a cat hammock. Maybe a bucket of water on the front seat, under the cover, will help persuade them to stay off.

I've just been in the garage and judging by the footprints our cat has been trying to help find the electrical problem under the bonnet of the TR!
