It's got miles on it. But was running strong when I pulled it out 1 month ago. For reference, the cam looks great - no worn lobes. No pitting.

This will make a great V8 / 3.9 core for your V8 project.

OK! Block is sold. I have the heads. 2 ten bolt heads from a 1995 Defender 90. It ran very strong when removed. Heads are in great shape, including the surfaces. No burnt valves. Yours for $200. As you know, these heads will work on any displacement Rover V8 3.5, 3.9, 4.0, 4.6.
These will make a great foundation for building your Stage 3 heads while keeping your current motor in your driver. I have the rockers too which I can sell separately if needed. It is difficult to upload jpegs to BCF. If interested, please reply or ping me and I can send pics, FaceTime, whatever. Wife wants these out of the garage.
