TR2/3/3A Konig Rewind on '60 TR3

I noticed Koning has come out with a nice looking wheel, the Rewind SIlver. I'm in the market for a Minilite look-a-like to go on my '60 TR3 and I'd prefer to buy them local if possible. Does anybody have any experience fitting these on a TR3 or even a TR4 for that matter? They offer them in a 4/114 bolt pattern which should fit but I'm concerned about the width and the off set. My TR's still in the body shop but I'm looking ahead to the spring when it should be back on the road!

Suggestion, try Superlite wheels, call Rich or Barry at
Pack Racing. I just purchased a set for my TR6. I think they look fantastic, and at a very good price.

Consider (unsprung) weight advantage of each mfg.
I think these are correct:
Panasport FS 15x6=15lbs
KN Minator 15x5.5=17.25lbs
Minilite Sport 15x6=16lbs
Superlite 15x6-18.9lbs

3.5lbs per wheel is significant; this is extra weight that your HP needs to move. Not sure how much a steel wheel weighs and tires also vary in weight. Peter

I will try to get the weight of my 15x5.5 stock steel wheels, with trim rings, center "hub cap" and Red Line tires.
That is my assignment for this weekend.
I realize my Superlites are not so superlite. Car is very happy with the wheels and tires. Sure goes down the freeway with happy, solid feel. Yes cars can be happy.

We're running KN Minator 15x5.5 with Yokohama AVS dB S2 205/60x15 F=26psi R=30psi. No clearance issues, quiet (not that you could hear them over the exhaust roar anyway!), snappy response and looks great!
