The grill on a 100S is unique. Anyone can put a "string" on their car, but I have never seen anyone rework the shroud of a 100 to look like an S. If you want to buy a 100S be prepared to wait a few years and pay North of $100,000.

Unfortunately - or fortunately - depending on your point of view, 100S body, trim, & interior conversion parts are now available. The only big distinction left to the casual observer is the totally different cylinder head & manifolding layouts. These are scarce & not likely to be duplicated, but have been "dug up". A couple of fake 100S cars have turned up on the market due, no doubt the extreme rarity & high selling prices. Buyer be beware.

HI Greg, It may be back in storage now but there is an all Aluminum 100S at Petes which he has been constructing for years using a stock 100.---Keoke

I think this explains how I feel right about now.
