First... the traditional Kirkland show is no longer in Kirkland, WA (a Seattle suburb) but was moved, this year, to Tacoma next to the new Lemay "America's Car Museum." I thought the show was disappointingly small... guessing there were 150 cars. The pre-1910 stuff was fantastic, but most of it was Detroit iron. FEW English cars present outside, and few inside the museum. An amazing 1886 Mercedes 3 wheel thing.
The museum is an amazing collection spread over 4 floors... and I've only included the first (top) floor here. The building is really rather remarkable - a bit like a gigantic inverted boat (with metal hull but all wood inside). The collection is a bit chaotic in places, with a Fred Flintstone movie car next to a Model T next to a 1930s Chrysler Imperial. Still, it's impressive with hundreds of cars. There is some organization in some areas (notably for Ferrari and the few English cars - an Elan, MG Magnette ZB, E-type, XK-120, Mini, Spitfire and a few others).

OOOPS... Kirkland in the header.
