Soon as the choke cable gets here I am ready to give it a go.

Got the carb return springs to my satisfaction.

Put a dot of paint on the timeing mark. Old eyes you know.

Put a new bolt in the dizzy secureing clamp. A nice stainless nut and bolt.

Carbs set at 6 flats and guess what, that provides enough tension on the inards that I get no leakage. Amazing how all the books are wrong for H1's when they say 12 flats. Gesh, the nut almost comes off the brass fitting. Guess I should have known better.

Well, I'm a new guy and I've struggled with the same thing in regards to the starting point for our H1s. Thanks for going through all your troubles, it's been a big help to me. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Got to feel good getting this close, Jack. You're going to have a great summer of driving!
