Deltas ain't near as impressive as th' shuttle but still a real thrill to see it from the front yard! :thumbsup:

My wife is a retired flight attendant and she watched a shuttle lift off at night as they flew by at 35000'. Her brother was one of the first to work at Canaveral. Rocket scientist doing rocket science. A real thrill for her to be able to see it from that point of view.
 
use to watch em launch @ Vandenberg back in the middle 60s
