Kent Cam valve lash ?

My TR6 has a Kent Cams TH2/6 cam installed by the P.O. I checked the Kent Cams web site to find the valve lash and nothing there. I checked some web pages and found one that said all the Kent Cams for my car were .022-intake .024-exhaust. Can anyone verify, or dispute those settings? Seems a little big to me....... but it does run better. Thanks Bob

Hi Bob, I have a Kent cam from that series in my TR4a and that's what the instructions in the box said.

I was a bit concerned as that is double the clearance for a stock cam, so I sent an email to Kent in the UK and they verified the information is correct; it's also on their website.

Incidentally, I have never been knowledgeable about American pushrod V8s, but I understand they use large clearances on solid lifter engines as well.
So I am sure you have the correct info.
Simon.

Thank you very much. They were all really tight when I started adjusting, and it ran much better after I used those settings. I will have to go back and check the web site and find the link I missed. Thanks again!
