I've got a big decision to make regarding the 73. On one hand I'd like to keep it and finish it off as I've brought it light years away from the condition I got it in. On the other hand life's going from the stability of the last few years to the great unknown of post grad life. Not sure where I'm going to end up and having 3 cars to move around would be a royal pain until everything settles and I may not have land lords who have been as lenient as my current one when it comes to auto work plus having the car shipped and put into storage is not cheap. I also have a supercharger on order for it however if I do sell it it's going on the 75 instead which they will have to pry the steering wheel out of my cold dead hands.
If I do sell anyone have a idea on value?
73B 115k miles and runs great. Just about everything mechanically has been rebuilt or replaced. Engine has about 12k since rebuild 40 over 8.8 to 1 pistons 270 cam Hap rebuilt hif4's Tourist trophy exhaust including header moss alum oil pan. Overdrive transmission and new driveshaft.
Electrical system has been replaced. New harness bosch conversion for the alternator hi torque starter and complete ignition system.
Suspension has been completely replaced New arms, lowered springs, swivel axles, front and rear shocks poly bushings all around, new tie rod ends.
Interior including dash has been completely replaced and the seats were rebuilt with new foam and leather covers (car didn't have anything but rusty floors and a trashed dash when I got it) Stay fast pack away top that hasn't been used much at all.
Hydraulics with the exception of the hard lines have been completely replaced. Both masters clutch slave front calipers rear wheel cylinders along with new pads and shoes rotors and even the hand brake system has been replaced.
Currently has superlights with 195/60/15's on it that are a little over a year old and I would most likely keep them and put the stock rostyles back on. However if the price was right I would let them go with the car.
Windshield assembly was replaced with a polished early frame and new glass and seals. No cracks or chips.
Body is still pretty much as I got it except the floors were replaced by a pro. Paint is a 20 footer and its got the normal rust in the dog legs and will need a replacement right front fender when it's painted as it’s the wrong one for the year. Structure under the floors was solid and the sills are solid. Bumpers were replaced and all new trim installed. It’s a good driver and was my good weather daily driver last year and will be again this year.
