KEEP ALL STOCK PARTS???

I've just done a weber conversion on my 77 Midget and I'm losing the cat converter this week. I also am not smogged.
I have many parts that I personally will never use. Am I better off keeping this stock stuff {zs, carb , intake, cat pipe, smog pump etc} and eventually selling it with the car?
I realize we're talking low buck vehicle here..Opinions?

I am a purist at heart and although I like modified cars I especially like old cars restored to original condition. Saying that, I would keep the parts and give them to the next owner of your MG. I know that the Midget isn't a high dollar car but who knows where the value will go in a few years or so. If you have an attic or storage area above the garage I would store the parts for a future owner who may want to returen the car to original condition. Just my 2 cents.

Keep the parts. Spridget parts are small, and you might just want them some day. You could probably store an entire Spridget (minus body) in a couple of boxes.

Drew: They GROW & multiply in "cool, dark" storage places. Next thing ya know they're covering every nook & cranny available.

Trust me on this.

If you don't want 'em, pack 'em up & send to me..I collect ZS stuff...& let me know the shipping.

But it is always the wrong ones that multiply.

So are LBC parts distantly related to wire coat hangers?

Only the rear tail pipe hanger.

I've also heard that they can reproduce several times a year evolving into "parts cars" that can take over an entire yard! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif

Oh my gosh, the entire yard. No grass to mow.
