The 2012 Mitty's grand marshal is Triumph legend R. W. "Kas" Kastner.

R. W. "Kas" Kastner made his mark as a production car driver in the late 1950s. He enjoyed a legendary career in motorsports, associated first with Triumph and later with Nissan. We're proud to bring Kas to Road Atlanta for this special event. Click here to read more about Kas Kastner.

The 2012 Classic Motorsports Mitty will also host the Friends of Triumph and their special "Kastner Kup" race, held exclusively for Triumph-powered race cars to honor grand marshal Kas Kastner. This will be the 10th running of the Kastner Kup race, and we're excited to host it at the Mitty!

The 2012 Classic Motorsports Mitty is sponsored by Mazda, Kumho Tires, Moss Motors, the Skip Barber Racing School, and Exotic Car Transport

The Mitty will host the Georgia Triumph Association and Vintage Triumph Register for their regional meets.

The VTR gathering will include a Le Mans-start race, car show, parade lap and awards party. The meet is open to all VTR members regardless of their region, so get in touch with the Vintage Triumph Register to make sure they save you a spot in the corral.

The Classic Motorsports Mitty will take place April 27-29 at Road Atlanta, and you can find all the latest information on how to be a part of it at TheMitty.com. Don't miss this incredible event!

If the TR4 is willing and the creek don't rise, I'm in! Anyone on the forum with Georgia Triumph or in the Southeast VTR? I'd like to know more about the VTR regional - if same hotel etc.

I was discussing this with a few of my Buddies from 6-PACK last night over a couple of pints. I think that me might have a little adventure in the works. 16 Hour drive from Toronto....been farther than that in the 6 so, we shall see!

Cheers,
M. Pied Lourd
