K&N 56-9335 on a bugeye sprite

I have a 1958 bugeye sprite with su hs2 carburetors .

Will the K&N 56-9335 fit with out clearance issues. Has anyone used the K&N 56-9335 on there bugeye? If so do you have any feed back thanks
 
Hi ttam23,

Yes, the 56-9335 will fit on the SU hs2 carburetor, but with only about 1/4 inch between them. I have installed them on my 1960 Bugeye with HS2 carbs.
 
What’s that big hose coming from the heater area running in front of the carbs?
