Thought you guys would get a kick out of this one.

I declined to buy his old steel bonnet after it was bent rather badly. He replaced it with a glass bonnet, apparently with less than sufficient mounting points.

What's the wire going over the windscreen on the passengers side?
 
My guess is it's the stay cable for the forward tilt bonnet.
Nice looking Bugeye. Check out the skinny tires and wire wheels.
