Just want to make sure before starting engine....

I'm anxious to start up the rebuilt 1275 but haven't yet put fluid in the trans. or the diff. If I keep everything in neutral, there wouldn't be any problems, would there?

I'm 99 percent sure the answer is NO, no problems, but just wanted to make sure.

thanks...

Bruce,
Your gearboxes input shaft will turn, that has two bearings, one in the case and one at the main shaft end. They turn in neutral. They will be turning dry. Will you weck them? most likley not for a few minutes....but why chance it?

Thanks Dug...that's what I wanted to check. I'll just fill the trannny before I do that. Always good to learn something.
