I recently purchased a 62' Mk1 Midget and am in the process of getting a great education. I'm retired so I don't consider this a challenge as such, but a dream come true. It's allowing me opportunity to just have fun once again. I spent nearly 40 years working on heavy equipment from the slopes of Alaska to the gulf of Mexico. Now I'm finally home, in my garage, listening to the sweet sounds of my music, paying attention to my heartbeat, and wrapped up in a new passion. This is fun, and I'm learning quickly just how many others are enjoying this newfound freedom as well. I wanted to thank all those who came before me with journals and volumes of information for the rest of us to use and follow. The countless hours of dedication necessary to amass a great resource such as this, my hat goes off to all of you. My new addition I will simply call my "Muttget". If I can figure out how to upload pics of her I'll do that some day....It was born with a 948 but has been converted to a 1098 sometime along the way. An accident somewhere, someplace, sometime has left it with a later model left front fender....hence the raised eyebrow on the left side....but ya know what?.....I just love her the way she is. And I don't have any plans to change her dramatically. I'm just gonna ride along wherever she so chooses to take me and consider myself blessed. This is just practice for heaven the way I see it. Thanks again to all of you for the opportunity to be so blessed....David_George
