"Lotus Elan Restoration Guide" by Gordon Lund. Mostly for the photos. Good info on parts suppliers in England, too.

Nice documentary of Gordon's restorations, with excellent photos as you note but a bit of a misnomer with title "Restoration Guide". Don't get me wrong here, I read it cover to cover, enjoyed it and refer back to it from time time to time but for a guide I use the FSM whic is wordy, poorly illustrated and difficult to follow but the best I have found.

No argie here, Tom. As stated, it was mostly for the photos. I've a couple FSM's, two for the Twink and one for the Plus-2, along with the factory parts book for the DHC. Done about every job there could be done on these cars, the S-3 had a frame-off back in about '76, a couple engine rebuilds since. Now that I'm no longer wrenching on other people's cars I figured the book may give me inspiration to get on with my own.
