Thanks - I printed it and it's hanging in my cube right now!!

Beautiful. But I can never keep my hat from flying off at speeds over about 35. I wonder how the guy in the picture does it.

Do those type hats have a name?
I drove the BE to Court today and donned one such hat
for the occasion. It just seemed appropriate with the coat and tie. Made me feel like an audacious rascal.
:jester:

FLAT cap. My "BELL Helmets" one is toast now. Wore it for years, too. :frown:

"British Driving Cap"

I'm always amazed how small the people are in those ads.

Also called "Ivy Caps" or simply "Driving Caps"

Appears to be standard equipent even back then.

Kelly forbids me to get one, says it ages me ten years.

Drew Brees has on but wears it back'ards.

Kinda defeats the purpose, but I'll probablt do it.

Can't to the greek fisherman's like Tony, not yet at least.

Makes me look like a young boy in the early 1900's w/ my pea coat on.

No, the cars shrank w/ age from UV exposer and acid rain, rust too.

Probably nails it to his head. That's the only thing that works.

Wanna know how many of those hats I've lost?

Around here, those hats are called 'COW PIE' caps.

If yours gets blown off, you need to get a smaller one. Need one that cuts off the circulation.

A stapler might work. Or if you are bald enough, as I am, you could use contact cement.
Or, get a car with a top. Mine never blows off when I drive the Morris saloon.
