Today marks 4 weeks since I had a bike accident. Injuries (and my wife) keep me from my regular activities of :
Jogging, bicycle riding, driving my TR6 and Lambrettas.
I’m currently walking on a nature trail near my house.
Time to stop and smell the wild flowers.

Looks right for an electric assist mountain bike. Keep it under 30. You'll be fine.

Don't have an electric bike... I like riding my 30 year old Bianchi Avenue.
Today I was hoofing it on the trail.

That looks like a great place to walk! We have Bureau of Land Management land right across the street with many kilometers of trails, but our trails are nowhere near as green as yours! Lots of cacti, Pinon and Juniper, etc.

And SNAKES!
That’s one reason we prefer to walk in the cool mornings…rattlesnakes are a bit more docile. Once it warms up you’re more likely to find them sunning on the trails.

When I go on the bike trail in the morning I always see snakes warming themselves on the paved trail. I admit I’ve run-over one as I didn’t see it until it was too late.

That's some tall grass.

Back out on the nature trail. It’s only 95 degrees 🥵

Looks great, Elliot! It's 95 here too, but the lightning is booming across the sky and rain just starting. Four O'clock, right on time!

I remember spending a summer in FLA. you can almost set your watch as it rains almost everyday. The “feels like” temp right now is 104 degrees with the high humidity.
