Just an I wonder why question

So I've noticed over the years, with the percent of blue eyed people being around 8-10% they say, how come it seems like the number in movies and TV seem so much higher?? I've seen some shows where all the main characters seem to be blue eyed. I'm not complaining, just a kind of "wonder why" sort of thought.

Because us blue eyed people have such great contrast in our eyes when viewed through a movie lens.
 
I have blue eyes also, but I think Sinatra had something to do with it's popularity! :LOL:
