never quite sure what to do here. My lips says "Congratulations - it looks fabulous!!" But my heart burns with inquenchable jealous rage /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif sigh - the eternal struggle.

Seriously - looks great - be careful

Looks like Miss Agatha is going to have more kin.

Looks good.

Good luck bolting everything up. Remember...there's always beer.

Now I KNOW you belong here, Bruce! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Nice work! I like the red brake parts, might have to think about that when I redo the Tunebug's suspension.

Looks like you had quite a bit of metal work to do, and it looks well done. I'm impressed. One more for the road.

Thanks fellas! It has been a long time coming, however, this has been the most enjoyable car that I have done!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Bruce,,,, Plenty of Beer in the garage--believe me. There have been many of times that I have stopped working on her and just started drinking. The best times are when I can start drinking and admire the work without frustration....making a mental list of what is to come next.

I did all of the metal work.

It got to the point of being too cold here and I had a friend shoot it in his garage (primer, wheel wells, underbody, engine comp.)He has a better heat situation in his garage.

Looks nice, glad to see you are back at it again.

Patrick

Not being a stickler for originality, I have always felt that the "beautiful green" has been very good at masking those nagging oil leaks! Since I used it some 20 odd years ago, I have been very partial to Cummins Beige as an engine color. At the slightest hint of an oil leak, you can SEE it, but that's just me!!...I also like Battle-ship grey for the same reason!! Not concours, just practical!!

I actually painted it grey the first time I built it. When I decided to add the good stuff, I wasn't happy with the grey. Love the green!! Reminds me of when I was a kid i guess.

Extra parts?? Anyone know where the rubber o ring and two copper washers go that come with the gasket set? I haven't tried to look through the diagram yet. Just thought I'd ask.

Several places for copper washers. Oil return both top and bottom of the banjo fitting. Oil passage plug under the carbs.

An O ring just gives me a blank.
