Junkyard B with Weber carb

hottvr

Stopped at a junkyard near Disney that had a 78 B with a Weber carb set up in it. The lady in the office didn't want to part out the car but to sell it whole. There was lots of good stuff on it. I don't need the carb but wouldn't mind pulling some stuff off it. She will go as low as $400 for the car. I don't have any pics because I was working at the time and just happened to see it in the parking lot waiting to go back into the yard.
Any interest anyone?

I'd probably be down for it if I was closer, but my parents would KILL me. Assuming it's a solid car, one could stand to make some miney by brightening it up a bit, fixing its immediate problems, and flipping it.

It looked like too much of a project for $400 but that Weber set up looks complete and is worth the money. I'd pay her the cash and take what's needed and leave the car at the yard.

If it is a real Weber DCOE it might be worth it. Not to use, just to resell. The downdrafts are garbage and not worth bothering with.
