I love rhubarb pie, but most are ruined by the addition of strawberries.
I don't think I've had rhubarb pie with strawberries so not sure how I'd like that. We had wild rhubarb growing in the back end of our property growing up, so rhubarb pie was a regular staple!

My Italian Grandma made it with the rhubarb growing in her back yard in western PA as we were growing up. Haven't had it since. No strawberries involved. But I recall a MOUNTAIN of sugar she used.

All the commercial rhubarb pies I see have strawberries in them. I haven't had a real rhubarb pie since childhood either.

Post your Aunt Martha's recipe for rhubarb pie instead :bananawave: We're all pretty good about that 99.9% of the time.
I don't even have an Aunt Martha. But come to think of it...at my age I no longer have any aunts either.

Kinda sobering as you realize you're working your way to the top of the family heap. On my mother's side I have 2 older cousins, both in poorer health, then my turn as the patriarch...
