Congratulations to our friends in the North - Canada Day!

On July 1, 1867, the colonies of British Canada (Ontario and Quebec), Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick joined to form the Dominion of Canada.

On the Centennial in 1967, Queen Elizabeth made a royal visit.

Note the men on HM's right have their right legs in front; men on HM's left have their left legs in front. No idea about the folks in the second row.

Thank you Thank you - on behalf of my people I thank you. :D

Just got in from celebrating my mother's birthday. She turns 93 tomorrow. Last week she got home from visiting her sister in Holland, and, earlier this year when she had to renew her passport she went for a 10 year renewal - because it was only $20 more. :D
