while im coasting in gear i get loose old kinda juddering feeling...makes u rock back and forth in ur seat type, although not THAT bad.....when accelerating it is mostly gone, so im assuming something in the propeller area, like the u joint etc.......ideas? .....zzimmmmmy

Zimmy, did you not replace U joints when you had everything out?

Do you get any noise or snap when you engage the clutch at rest, first or reverse or one after the other. Gentely now.

uh, i can get under the car and turn the prop back and forth a bit...should there be any slack there?........
its NOT the motor or gearbox.....whats left that would cause drive slack?

Ok so where is the slack, in the joints or rear end or transmission?

Nothing in the rear end but the seals and they do not cause judder.

Can you wiggle the U joints. How about rolling car back and forth in gear, hear anything, feel anything? What where?

Will be a bit of slack, no question, but where is it?

In the rear end or in the U joints?

haha, calm down jack...ill raise er up tomorrow and wiggle things around to see whats going on....
went on a nice hot 20 mile ride today....ran real well and nothin bothered me too much ; )
will be ordering front lever shocks right away as mine are shot...what else will i need when changing them? ...z

A wrench and top trunion bushings would be nice. Moss # 330-520 should do it.
