Our Daughter's fling to Barbados (wherever that is),
& has a 17 hour layover in Toronto.JP & his family are
showing her the sights,& making her feel at home.
JP,you need to make it out here,so I can return the favour.
She also has a similar layover in Puerto Rico, but I
don't know of anyone I'd trust to show her around.

17 hour lay over.
Who the heck is the travel agent.
I would have fired the person

No offense to JP ,and if I had that long there I would do the same ...or shoot myself

Don,

A friend of hers paid for the ticket,& he waited too late.

Besides, this was about JP going above & beyond - not about her

Next time, instead of flinging her there, try letting her fly :jester:

And I thought she was having a fling in Barbados.

 No problem at this end. Got her at the airport fine, some food and off to Niagara Falls. My daughter is an intern at a magazine this summer and has become friends with another intern who is from England, so she hadn't seen Niagara either. We almost didn't see it. It Poured! Roads were flooded, trees were down. Fortunately it didn't last too long so they could see them - and there is something quite lovely about the Falls at night. All in all a good time had by all.

Slooowly I turned,....
Hehehe.
Doug, Too bad Tinster still wasn't in Puerto Rico, He and his wife are some of the most gracious hosts I've ever encountered. Our stay there was wonderful, thanks to them.

Where is he now?

Tinster is in Tampa. Not doing well. COPD is taking it's toll. He's tough to get a hold of, as he's not on the computer much anymore, and talking on a phone is difficult for him.
In spirit of this thread, I'd like to say Kudos to JP. this kind of stuff is what makes this group so neat. I didn't mean to hijack what this is about.
