I'd go for the SP!

FF MK 3 - My kind of 4X4!
Think he'd trade straight accross for a 4Wd Suburban?

I believe Mike is a dealer in Jensen Interceptor and Jensen Healey parts and has been around the marque for many years.
These look like two of the better examples I have seen in some time. The "SP" indicates the '440 Six Pack' engine with the triple carburetion.

Yeah, but $45,000?

Mike is a very well known long-time Jensen supporter and used to be a supplier of parts for these cars.

Both the SP and the FF are very rare versions, and should command a hefty premium over the really rather modest prices the regular Interceptors bring (except the convertibles, which do go in the 30K range)

Now if you want an SP, I can truly say I have an interesting one at home (albeit not stock).

The model before the Interceptor was the fibreglass bodied CV-8, which weighed 6-700 lbs. less. Stick an SP engine in one of those and it really hauls......

Yeah, but $45,000?

I can see the one in your post above might be serious rare and might command 5-figure prices but the others? Are they that rare?

Mine? Naw, my car isn't stock and wouldn't bring anywhere near that, even if I did decide to sell it.

Mike's FF is one of the best around and very rare - hard to put a price on it, but if you got it for the same price as a convertible, say 30K, you'd be doing well.
