You won't receive any more PMs until you clean it out. The software limits the number of PMs you can maintain in your PM mailbox.
 
I cleaned my room, can I go out and play now?
 
What most people don't realize is that the new software takes all your old sent messages, etc and merges them into your inbox. I had no idea my inbox was full until someone told me in a public thread.

I'm going to recommend to the developers that they include some visual signal to indicate that your mailbox is full. Anyone trying to send you a PM will know becuase it won't let them send it, but unless someone tells you, you have no idea.

This PM system doesn't work like the old in which sent messages are separate. As you may have notices, this software treats PMs just like a normal tread in which you can see the entire string of posts/replies. It also allows you to add multiple recipients. But the down side is, it doesn't tell you when your mailbox is full.

Every time I send a PM I panic because it looks like I just posted a thread. I wish the developers had included an option to treat them differently, like they used to be.

If you think about it, this new method is really much better since you can see the entire conversation (thread) wheras in the old forum you could only see one "post" in a PM. It does take some getting used to however. Also, with this new version you can actually quote someone (well, you could do that before, but you have to cut and paste the text and manually add the quote tags). You can also add more than one person to a PM (max is set at five).

I for one like the new system where I can see it all. However. Basil an indicator so we know when box needs emptyed would be lovely.

I agree the new format is more functional. I just wish the format differed from the forum threads. Not a big thing. Besides, PMs usually end up with the entire conversation un-snipped below anyway.
