James Bond, eat your heart out

"The JETLEV-FLYER - Extraordinary. Exciting. Arresting."

Yeah - HEART-arresting!

Not for me, thanks!

Mickey you wouldn't want to run the bayou's on that.

Don

Great fun, but think about the idiots that would actually get one and be close to you when they were using it. "Dude, take it over his head and see what happens". It's bad enough with powerboats and jet skis.

I'm with Ian.

...give an idiot a loaded gun...

I had a garden hose that did a similar thing, but without the guy on it.

Mud, meet sticks

I still think it would be great fun! Unfortunately the price is north of $100k, which sort of make it s moot point for me anyway!

Mebbe a simple "test drive" then??

After all, most of Europe thinks all visiting Americans are RICH.

This is definitely in the category of the statement by a certain category of people with necks of crimson:

"Hey, y'all - watch THIS!"

Wonder why he doesn't fly out over dry land if he says it has a 300km distance?

Because it requires a constant flow of water to work - hence the long tube that remains in the water at all times.

tony, me thinks the pump is inna little boat hes dragging around? perhaps his fuel load runs out after 300km.?, with my luck the pump would suck up a plastic bag or some other f.o.d. while i was over land. :wall:

300km is one loooooong lake!

Tony;
We got five of those long lakes in my neighborhood.
Funny thing, we call 'em the Great Lakes

Come on up some time and see for yourself!

Dave :savewave:

So, if I bought one I'd have to drive up there to fly?

Yeeha... Sure looks like fun, although I'm not sure we have any lakes large enough for it here in Alberta...

Well yeah Tony!

But I can give you a place to stay, only 20 minutes from Lake Erie and Long Point Bay.
And that thing would sure draw some attention.
Wait about 3-4 months so the lake can get warm enough.

Dave
