Namgar just sent me the latest issue with an article on the Jamaican in it.

If you aren't an MGA nut and therefor don't subscribe to the magazine, I scanned and posted it at

JAMAICAN

I think they were afraid of causing an uproar among traditional members and seeing me lynched for MGA sacrilege, judging by the editor's note on the article..

So far none of them have threatened to slice off my octagons.....

Bill - didn't see the editorr's note...but, every time I see that car, ohhhhhhhhhhhhh...............

Look at the bottom of the first page - warning the faint of heart to avert their eyes more or less.

I intend to give the car a good run some time this summer - after GT-32 at Whistler and pounding over back roads at some speed, it is a heck of a lot of fun. It is like two different cars - you can roll along without making much noise, the Magnaflow and tip resonator doing a good job of making you blend into the horde (sonically, anyway) but if you boot it, the car really goes - and howls. Oddly enough, the sound from the V6 does NOT sound that foreign to a British car, somehow.

Let 'em avert their eyes, Bill. That car is beautiful.

And that is so preaty. In fact it is better than preaty, sexy really.

Quite possibly the prettiest "kit" car I've seen -- most seem to have strange lines or proportions, but the Jamaican just seems to flow nicely. Very pretty, glad you're enjoying it.
