Jaguar XKE Expert in Charleston, SC

Hello,

I'm looking to get a Jaguar XKE and I found a few that I have an interest in. I'm not sure what to ask, or what to look for, so I was hoping to have a PPI done on one in Charleston, SC.

The one I am looking at is:

https://showroom.auction123.com/baker_motor_company/inventory/8305/1967/Jaguar/ETYPE/1E13731.html

They don't seem to know much about the car - they bought at an auction to spruce up their showroom.

Does anyone know of anyone in the area that could perform a good PPI?

Thanks!!

Matt
Car looks pretty correct from the pictures. Look at the car underneath. Check rocker appearance and where the suspension bushing goes to the body. Crank it up, go for short drive and let it run @ idle for a few minutes afterwards to see if it overheats and check oil pressure. If that all passes your inspection then get your appraisal done. Sorry but don't know anyone in that area.

Post the VIN on XKEdata.com. The car has a nice write up, and some ownership history. Sold at Amelia Island for big bucks ....

Does the color look accurate?
