Jaguar Replica

Here's a D-Type nice replica I just saw at the Moss Motors FallFest show in Dover, NJ.
The car is based on a New Zealand kit.
Believe it or not, there is sometimes *another* D-Type replica at this show.
Too bad they weren't there together.
The other one is hand-built and the owner told me he got most of the "scale" for sizing it from just looking at pictures!
Both have XJ-6 powertrains.

I like the Cobra kits, but these D-Jags are the bees knees.
I think this is a short-nose variant.

SWEEEEEEET! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif Wish I could afford something like that!

Nail:

You were at the show, I missed you /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif. I did a walk thru at about 12:30. Then went inside and picked up a few parts.

Hi Patrick:
Yeah, too bad I missed you.
I was there with my pal, Bruce and his #61 racing Mini (green and yellow).

I was going to bring #11 (on the trailer), but it was overcast and the Spridget is topless...Bruce's Min has a top /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I bought some spare axles and looked at other stuff, plus talked to lots of folks (and put EMRA propaganda in all the show cars).
