Can the mileage be easily reset to zero on a Jaeger Speedometer? I may have to get a replacement and would like to either reset it to zero or set it at the current mileage on my car.
 
I just went down in the basement where I have an odometer from a Jaeger gauge. I just fiddled with the toothed wheel on the side, and was able to get it to all zeros without any effort. I would imagine that a little messing around, and you could get it to read anything you want.
 
Thanks, there is a section in that "guide to repair" dealing with setting the mileage to whatever is needed.

Seriously, very simple to (gently) lift that springy thing and move the numbers about.
