jacking point rocker debris

Just getting into my 65 AH Sprite restoration. I'm confused how road dirt and debris that enters the rocker panel space at the jacking point leaves. I don't see any water letter-outers or drains of any kind! The driver side rockers have rusted through, front and rear, and they're clear of debris. But the pass side sheet metal, while being solid seems to full of debris?

Ted,
Run a small magnet in that space in the sills and you'll find it's mostly rust debris.

There are usually gaps at the bottom of the A-post that, with the help of water will flush debris into and then into the rocker panel. Sometimes shut panels are not well sealed at the front and rear of the rocker panel too.

There should be 2 drain holes, about 1/4" dia in the bottom of the rocker panel. They are located 12 inches from the front and 4 inches from the rear.
