That's actually pretty close to my house.
We had some additional pictures of Jack vs. Bear in my local newspaper.
Here in rural northwest NJ, I have black bears walking though my yard on a regular basis. Most are smaller than I am and are easy to chase away....I'm not surprised that a cat could run one out of a yard. By the way, they smell terrible!
But we have one female that looks to weight over 400 lbs. We stay away from her.
