TR2/3/3A J-Nut for TR3

I'm missing one of the J-Nuts that hold on the "VENT-PULL" trim piece in the center of the upper dash board capping. See attachment. In the pic, you can see the one I have on the left side of the hole. It is very small. Length is about 3/8" and width is about 5/16". I tried getting the smallest J-Nuts from McMaster, but they are too big.

Anyone know where I might be able to get one of these??

Quick search found this but I think I got my j-nuts from the local Ace Hardware Store or NAPA depending on the application. I am not familiar with the company and found it on Yahoo search.

Lowe's has a nice selection of automotive-type fasteners including j-nuts.

The problem I'm running into is that all of the sites that I've googled, the smallest that anyone seems to list is for a #6 screw that measures .47" x .50". The one I need is smaller (.312" x .375"), as it has to fit in that small rounded section of the dash capping. I'll try some local hardware and auto stores as I'm out and about. Thanks.

You might try Fastenal or maybe Penn Fasteners. Penn has some interesting products that might work for you.
