I've looked for but have not found...

...brake info. What I need to know:

TR4
brake pipe size
type and size of flare
brand of flairing tool to accomplish this endeavor.

Any an all help is appreciated.

Pretty sure the pipe is 3/16". Flares are "double", don't know what "size of flare" means.

Last time I flared my own, I wound up having to borrow a SnapOn flaring tool. But I was trying to make a 'bubble' flare in a pre-formed line, which it turns out are much harder than the usual coils.

Don't forget, you also need the right nuts, and there is more to the nut than diameter and thread pitch. They use SAE threads, but SAE nuts will not fit right and usually leak.

Lots easier to buy the Cunifer kit from Moss, IMO. Not only are they already flared, but the Cunifer is soft and easy to form by hand.

Thanks Randall. If double flairs are what I need, I can get a tool to do that. Didn't know what bubble flairs were.
I have all the nuts. I just need to replace some of the pipes due to friction wear on the frame.
