A couple days ago I bought an $89 car cover for one of my cars. This afternoon we had a near hurricane force wind storm. I went out to check my car cover and it was nowhere to be found. (Yes, I tied it down).

What color was it?.......I'll look for it up here

Looks to be coming from the west with a vengeance. Keep yer heads down up there!

How is the car? Any damage (scratches, etc.) when the cover was ripped off?

We had 50 - 70mph winds night before last, and the car cover was ripped off of my Cadillac but the one on my Miata held fast. We also lost power for some ten hours, I had to get ready for work by the light of an oil lamp.

i have certainly watched football, basketball, or baseball on the radio by Coleman lantern, does that count?

I used to tell my kids that "Lincoln used to watch TV by candlelight"
just to see if they were paying attention.
