Whew, memory jogger. I used to take the drawers on the bureau and try to gauge how far I needed to open them so that the Slinky could start of the top and make it to the floor. Stairs were a plus.
 
and of course one of my daughter's favourite quotes:

“Some people are like Slinkies - not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.”
 
I shoulda figured you'd put something slinky on at eight in the morning. :thirsty:
