It's 38 degrees here - who went for a drive today

I got my 02 sensor working, so had to go for a spin - filled her up with gas, drove a few miles and tried to get it to go through the gears without surging.

The laptop rode shotgun for the whole trip. It's scary how much information these things log now...

It was 31 degrees here yesturday. I went for a short 100 mile jaunt through the western suburbs.

Alright, how did you do? Are you getting closer to having the FI running the way you want?

About the same here today, but the sun was shinning so I ventured off only to return 10 miniutes later due to frost bite!
I still hate the cold!

I got all of my parts ready and in the car for Weds, but never left the garage. Does that still count? I had the door open too!

But I did get 18 holes in today as well as yesterday, so that ain't too bad! You don't get as cold in a golf cart as in a TR6 with the top down at 70MPH.

I just got all the sensors working right. Now I have to figure out what I'm doing to get it tuned properly.

It fires up first time - the thing never did THAT on carbs - idles great all the way up to operating temperature, and it ran ok except for a wierd surging at 2000rpm at light throttle. It's rich under load, so it feels really super strong. I was chirping tires when I didn't pay attention.

I'll do some proper tests and start tuning it over the next few days. I still have some odd timing scatter that I need to get out - I'm hoping that a crank trigger will be forthcoming soon to help fix that little issue.

I won't tell you it was 80 today in Fresno.

Ooops

Alan- I am quite envious .Keep at it. We need up to date details!

Hi There to All the "Car Crazy" Folks out there;

Especially the ones in the Northeast! "I`m one of them"!

Yesterday I had My TR out All day: Sunny, Dry and Cold (Thank God My Heater works)!

Today (Easter) I`m going to visit My Cousin in NJ: Should I take the TR or Should I take the "Mazda MPV Van"??

What a Choice! Don`t have to be a Rocket Scientist to figure that one Out!!!!!!

Be Kind to Your "Bunny" Today;

Regards, Russ

It was 29 with a wind chill down to 21 when we teed off this morning at 9:00AM. Finished at 11:45 and it was 35 with wind chill of 28. Not a banner day to be on the links, but sooner or later, summer will be here and the TR6 will be on the road.
