Two years after I started pulling it all apart, I got my newly rebuilt engine to restart today. YEAH! Tuning sounds kind of off and there was a big leak where the exhaust manifold attaches to the down pipe which I am going to have to solve. (one of the three threaded holes for the studs is broken and I stupidly didn't braze the stud in place before putting it in.)

After about 15 minutes of running, idle pressure was stable at 40psi, and a blip of gas sent it right up to 60psi.

Now I just need to re-repair the brakes. One disk brake was leaking when I filled it with fluid. Most likely I nicked the o-ring when I put it back together. Finally I am getting close to having a usable car again.

Good on ya, Yisrael!!!

I'm happy it is finally coming together for you.

NOW...........about that tile project???

There, I can offer you advice!

best,

dale
