The nor'easter wasn't quite the monster we expected, but it left a nice bit of work for us all this morning, at least from Connecticut on north. After shoveling off the 150' driveway while enjoying the DOT's "one finger salute" as they race by dumping more snow where I just cleared ... I took a pic of the backyard:

It missed us, fortunately.
Woke up to less than 2".
Ended up on an earlier train, because everyone else stayed home!

But, isn't it supposed to snow up there?

Yeah big deal! Started raining last night as they expected and I woke up to NOTHING. It was not even raining. No snow no digging no canceled work or school. They stink over there at the weather channel.

They should have a plow guy hunting season. Every time it snows the guy waits till you clear you driveway or garage and then comes out of nowhere and deposits twice or more of the snow back that you just cleared.

My favorite is when they clear the streets around here after a storm as they leave a berm in the middle of the street that can be as high as 4 feet. It wouldn't be a bad thing but they leave them there all day.
