Got the motor in my BJ8 started today after a rebuild that took a year to complete. I'm ecstatic. She started with no fuss or drama, ran at 2000rpm for 20 minutes with no leaks or knocks...and a large part of the success of the project was due to the information offered freely by the rest of you 'motorheads' here at this site. Thank-you.
Man what a great feeling to have it running again!
Can't wait to take it for a drive. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif congrats! Glad to hear it went smoothly. I'm so envious that you get to take your Healey for a ride. I hope to be able to report the same later (much later) this summer.

Cheers,
John
