Popped out to the shop today to see if the GT would start after the winter (such as it has been). I need to move it tomorrow after work so I can get to my engine hoist, and it's much easier to drive than push.

Key on, couple cranks, started right up first time. Very nice.

Of course, I was sitting on the floor as the seats are not done yet, but at least the engine is strong!

"After the winter"... I'm not sure what the means. Another foot of snow is due to dump here tomorrow.:flush:

I wish that were us. The last major snow we had was Christmas really (a few small ones also in early January). It's been in the 60s at my house (which is at 5550' in elevation). We should be buried right now. Quite a bit of our water supply here comes from snow melt, so this summer is shaping up to be miserable. The local economy where I work (Park City) is strongly based on tourism, and the ski season is our busiest time. Not good.

My family in RI and Boston keep sending back pictures of their snow build up. I send pictures of the grass in my back yard. :wall:

Drove it a whole 20 yards last night, from my little shop to the main garage -- needed clear some space so I could get an engine into the shop. Working in a small shop makes things complicated sometimes.

Still, the old GT fired right up. Provides some motivation to get the seats done.

We had temperatures in the 80s last week here in SoCal, dropping to the high 60s this week. Seems obscene, given what is happening in much of the rest of the country. I've taken the TD out a couple of times, just driving it around town. I'm still not sure it's ready to go farther.

We got a tiny bit of snow at my office this morning (maybe an inch). Still, it's something.
