What a little power steering fluid can do? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif

Earlier this week I noticed a bit of groaning when I would push the steering to the locks while maneuvering my Shark(Porsche 928) at slow speeds. As I’ve owned more than my share of American vehicles I just accepted this as the norm. Besides it didn’t make any noise going down the road or under light turning. Well I was poking around under the bonnet yesterday checking fluids and such when I decided to check the power steering fluid. While it wasn’t empty it was about half way down in the reservoir below the full mark.
So this afternoon I decided to rectify this oversight of mine & flush the tired old fluid and replace it with fresh stuff.

What a difference! Smooth & silky and no exaggerated he-man measures to get the car to get it to do what I wanted it to do. The old gal is extremely “darty and accurate” for such a large sports car. High compliments for a guy that’s use to spirited driving in a little MGB. I can quite literally point & shoot my shark without any effort. Totally different driving experience. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I'm sure you have a whole new appreciation for throttle steering now too. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
