Is Your Neighborhood a Car Guy Hangout?

Is my neighborhood a car guy hangout? Um... nope. The guy across the street has a few-year-old Boxster he's been trying to sell for at least 6 months. Most everyone else either has a variety of typical modern cars and trucks with the odd Miata, Z3, Z4, Corvette, and motorcycle.

One of my neighbor's kid's friends has a mid-90s Ford Probe painted in rattle-can flat-black with a coffee-can muffler and a loud subwoofer. I'm not quite sure that counts as a car though. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Not much of a "car culture" around here, but still within a the neighborhood I know of a older Citroen 2CV, Volvo Amazon, and a mechanics shop with a very nice Citroen Traction Avant. Last time I went by there was customers MK2 spitfire there. Most of the neighbors think I am a bit off my rocker spending so much time and money on the Triumph.

My buddy has a 70 Cutlass ragtop he brings over to wash, and a guy around the corner has a Fox body "Stang. It looks like it used to be wuick, but now it it sits under boxes and the front end makes me suspect there i no engine in it. New family just moved in down the street with a turbo Civic and a modified Acura coupe.

Otherwise its just me driving down the property values.
