Hey guys

Thought id tackle a simple job today and re assemble the right front suspension...starting with new hub bearings. Well after drifting out the old races i find the outer bearing seat has been damaged and PO has brazied the area and locktited the race into place. My question is do i persevere with is or bin it and start again?

OMG...What is it with PO's and brazing?

I would not mess with it. Just the act of heating the hub hot enough to braze it would concern me. It should be heat treated to dead soft. No telling what the treating is now.
