Is this a Midget Hardtop? What year[s]?

Hello, I acquired 2 hardtops that I was told were for a midget. And all I know is that they do not fit my '66 Midget. Very close, but they don't fit. Does anyone recognize them?

Bugeye factory tops. Might fit a MKI/II, but I think curve around the back is a little different.

If you want to sell one (or both) I know a guy that might be interested.

These look like Healey BE hardtops rather than factory BMC BE hardtops.

Those look exactly like what I received with Bugsy II. I have not looked inside to see if there are any markings , mfg etc.

The only markings are a serial number on the left hand reinforcement plate, where the mounting bracket is located with 3 screws. I believe these are handed, but maybe they can be switched to either side. The one I have handy is on the left.

The only way I know of to tell the Healey top (which is much more rare than the BMC top) is the height for the side curtain. The Healey side curtain requires a taller side curtain.

It's hard to tell from the angle the pix are taken, but they appear to fit the smaller side screens. If you look at the pix at Horler on page 44-45 of the Healey top, you'll see the more radical curve in the top at the A-post. He also states that the highest serial number know is 190. All of the tops I have or have had (I've had at least 6 or 8 over the years, are all 4 digits.

Wow, you guys really know your little cars... Anyway thanks for the info!! And since they don't fit my car, and since I don't own a BE (yet), they will be for sale. What do tops in this condition typically sell for? Whats a fair asking price?

Trevor, is that you speaking in 3rd person? j/k. I'm only 1.5 hrs South of L-ville btw.

Depending on condition I might be interested in one, and there is another person here in Louisville that may be interested in the other. I'll let others advise you on price because I really do not know what is fair.
